Dr. William Hinkie
Dr. William Hinkie is a professional violinist and violist who teaches and performs in the Denver Metropolitan area. As a teacher, Dr. Hinkie enjoys working with students of all levels from very young beginners to adult learners.
His performing experiences include serving as the assistant principal violist of the Aspen Festival Orchestra, principal violist of the Denver Philharmonic Orchestra and as a substitute violist with the Colorado Ballet, the Boulder Philharmonic and the Colorado Springs Philharmonic. In addition to this, he is an avid fan of chamber music and can often be found performing chamber music in multiple capacities throughout the Denver Metropolitan area.
He received his Bachelor Degree in Music Education and Violin Performance from Louisiana State University, a Master of Music in Viola Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music and a Doctorate of Musical Arts from the University of Minnesota. His teachers include Sally O’Reilly, Heidi Castleman, Victoria Chiang and Ellen Rose.
In addition to maintaining a large studio of private violin, viola and cello students in the Denver Metro, Dr. Hinkie is also on the music faculty of the APEX homeschool enrichment program in Longmont, Colorado.

Lindsay Genadek
Lindsay currently teaches private violin and viola lessons from her home studio. She is also very active in the music education community. She is currently the Outreach and Education Coordinator for Augustana Arts – City Strings, helping bring music education to underserved communities, is the President-Elect for the Colorado American String Teachers Association, is on the American String Teachers Association (ASTA) Private Studio Committee and has served as Secretary of the Colorado ASTA Chapter. She has presented sessions at the American String Teachers Association National Conference, the Colorado Music Educators Association Conference as well as the Colorado American String Teachers Association Summer Conference.
Lindsay can be seen performing on her viola throughout Colorado. Most recently, Lindsay performed with the Boulder Symphony Orchestra as principal viola, the Denver Philharmonic where she played both section violist and principal violist, Stratus Chamber Orchestra and the Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra.
She received her Bachelors of Music Performance on viola at the University of Northern Colorado, her Bachelors of Music Education degree from Colorado Mesa University and her Masters of Education Administration at Argosy University.

Molly Sharp
Molly Sharp is the Principal Violist of the Richmond Symphony, teaches viola at Virginia Commonwealth University, and played in the Oberon String Quartet for 22 years. Molly is also the creator of VlaTutti.com, which provides resources for violists that elevate teaching, learning, and performing through the joy of collaboration.
A native of Fayetteville, AR, Molly received a Bachelor’s Degree from Vanderbilt University/Blair School of Music, studying with Kathryn Plummer. She received her Master’s Degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music, where she studied with Heidi Castleman and apprenticed with the Cavanni Quartet. In addition to playing with the Richmond Symphony, Molly has also been a member of the Nashville Symphony and the Glimmerglass Opera Orchestra. Recent highlights include coaching chamber music at the Gettysburg Chamber Music Workshop and presenting at the American and International Viola Society Festival on the topic of A Trauma-Informed Approach to Pedagogy and Performance Anxiety.
